Anonymous – Operation V: Declaration of War on the United States Government

Transcript from the above video:

To the Citizens of the United States and the United States Government.
We are Anonymous.

In the past few months, our collective has been organizing the operation known as Operation Blackout. Part of the operation’s purpose was to alert the people of the coming bill that was to be called the Stop Online Piracy Act.

This Act would give Congress the power to censor any internet website they wish without consent from the Citizens of the United States. This act would’ve also had the power to jail any person who infringed on its new copyright law for an equivalence of five years. This copyright law would’ve had the power to destroy social networking sites such as Facebook and YouTube. Video gameplay and free movies would cease to exist.

However, Operation Blackout was a success. As a collective, we’ve managed to spread the word and alert the masses. Internet giants such as Google, Wikipedia, and Reddit became hand-in-hand with us as we all managed to make an impact on the decisions of our, “free government”. But as we’ve seen with Megaupload, the government may not need a bill to be passed to get their way. Other operations we’ve conducted over this time period have awaken the people to the nightmare that is the United States Government. Sections 1031 and 1032 of the National Defense Authorization Act have been ratified. Yet we face new threats.

The United States Government is seeking to pass the Cyber Security Act of 2012. This act is as Orwellian as it sounds; it will endanger our collective and we will not stand by and watch while this government of lies prepares to take away our freedoms. The National Security Agency insists on labeling us as a leaderless, terrorist organization. The question is, “who do we terrorize?”. Can it possibly be that the United States government is truly scared of us? Nevertheless, The time for action is now.

Our collective has realized, along with many United States citizens, that the current government is no longer functional. Our economy is unstable, our representatives uncooperative, and our system, destroyed.

We are not calling upon the collective to deface or use a distributed denial of service attack on a United States government agency website or affiliate. We are not calling upon the people to occupy a city or protest in front of a local building. This has not brought on us any legislative change or alternate law. It has only brought us bloodshed and false criticism. For the last 12 years, voting was useless. Corporations and lobbyists are the true leaders of this country and are the ones with the power to control our lives. To rebuild our government, we must first destroy it.

Our time for democracy is here.
Our time for real change is here.
This is America’s time, to have its own revolution.

Therefore, Anonymous has decided to openly declare war on the United States government. This is a call to arms. We call upon the Citizens of the United States to stand beside us in overthrowing this corrupted body and call upon a new era. Our allegiance is to the American people, because they are us, and we are them.

Operation V, engaged.

We are Anonymous.
We are Americans.
We never Forgive.
We never Forget.
To the United States government, it’s too late to expect us.

“…stand beside us in overthrowing this corrupted body…”

Ummm, let me think -- NO.

I’ve got a better idea … let’s you and them fight.

When you are both weakened and discouraged, we’ll have a better opportunity to restore representative government in the form of our original constitutional republic.

This kollective is far more Orwellian than the opposition it opposes.

1984 was about two kollectives in eternal conflicts. Sadly our kollective skool system is so bad that most students fail to figure this out. OWS shows people fall for this type of tripe.

Frankly, they do have a point. If Americans are too scared to stand up for our freedoms..then they deserve to go down in flames. I for one..will stand with this group ! They have the nads to do something about saving America. I may be near 60..I may not be an elite fighting machine..but I’m no slouch. I WILL STAND WITH THEM ANYTIME ! As for you guys thinking about voting in change? You’re part of the problem as well !

So far I haven’t paid much attention to Anonymous. Who are they? What are they? Anything more than a bunch of computer hackers? There’s only so much you can do with a keyboard and a mouse.
To Anonymous: If you want to destroy the U.S. government, I expect you better be ready to pull some trigger too.
Regardless, when someone asks me to join them in such a venture, there’s a few questions I’d be stupid not to ask:
So you wanna Revolution? Well …
When you’ve succeeded in destroying and are ready to rebuild, what exactly do you plan to build? A republic? Or are do you have your heart set on restoring the democracy that never existed? This is a must know for me, cause if your intent is to build the liberal utopia, you better be prepared to pull trigger on me.
I think that’s a valid question because not once in your little maniPesto did you use the word ‘constitution’. Why is dat, I wonder?
Also, when issuing a call for revolution could you list a few more grievances with a little more import than not being able to play video games and get FREE stuff?

I agree with Hans- yaw go head and start yer revolution. If, at some point, it appears you might be successful, and you appear to headed to Marxist side -- me and lots of folks like me are probably gonna kill you.

We are a Republic…It needs to remain a Republic. The usurpers in Chiefs are tearing it into a Marxist haven. Im not sure where you stand..but I am certainly far from a liberal puke. Now, you better get your ammo together..and meet me at the line. We need to stand side by side and rid this country of their crap.

Iceman: your ambiguity is cause for more than a little concern …

“…rid this country of their crap …”

… can easily refer to either bad-actors in our FedGov or to the destructive behavior of OWS / Anonymous.

Like Bubba says, be careful you don’t place yourself in our ‘sight-picture’ when you set out to play ‘rumble’.

We will not tolerate the shredding of our (dormant) institutions for the establishment of anarchy / democracy / communism … (you pick the label, they all end up in the same philosophical space).

Just sayin’, you’ve been advised.

Say WHAT ? You must not have a good command of the english language. Re-read my last post. Besides, I dont play “rumble”. It appears to me, Anonymous has nothing to do with OWS people. The current Government regime has to go. So far, these guys whoever they are have the same idea. As I see it, they are the only ones standing up to Obama. Also, dont you EVER question my love for America and my Constitutional values.

I can’t think of anyone I’ve ever met that has a better command of the english language than Hans. I re-read your posts and what I see is someone that’s ready to jump on any band-wagon, under any flag that promises destruction of government.
So are you an anarchist?
I understand and empathize with the desire to wipe the halls and walls of government clean … but I will not stand with anyone in battle just because they agree with a few words of my vision.
Like I said before, the Anon group makes no mention of restoring and honoring the constitution or restoring a representative republic. What people dont say is just as revealing as what they do say.
So far Anon sounds more like Occupy than TeaParty, more like Marxists than Patriots. Since there is so little known about them, assumptions have to be made. You can assume they’re oki doki because they share with you the use of a couple of words. I will assume otherwise until they share with me ALL of my words.
