Q: How are amendments to the federal Constitution made?
A: Article V of our Constitution provides two method of amending the Constitution:
- Congress proposes amendments and presents them to the States for ratification; or
- When 2/3 of the States apply for it, Congress calls a convention to propose amendments.
Q: Which method was used for our existing 27 amendments?
A: The first method was used for all 27 amendments including the Bill of Rights which were introduced into Congress by James Madison. 3
Q: Is there a difference between a constitutional convention, con con, or Article V Convention?
A: These names have been used interchangeably during the last 50 years.
Q: What is a “convention of states”?
A: That is what the people pushing for an Article V convention now call it.
Q: Who is behind this push for an Art. V convention?
A: The push to impose a new Constitution by means of an Article V convention (and using a “balanced budget” amendment as justification) started in 1963 with the Ford and Rockefeller Foundations. Today, it is pushed by:
There is a simple safe and sure way to Restore States rights and Liberty for the people. It is a Article V State action to REPEAL the offending amendments that have allowed the Federal Government at all three levels to usurp. This action restores the Dual Federalism and take the bribe money and the power away from DC.

I believe this was the same excuse that was used to “fix” the Articles of Confederation and Perpetual Union. The government was illegally usurped, the conference was renamed the Constitutional Convention and a new government was presented for 9 states to ratify. But we can continue to expect the same outcome:
Well, let’s suppose for a moment the Article V convention occurrs and a new, subversive constitution is installed to replace the current one …
Seems like that would just make it easier for me and others to ignore “their” constitution like “they” currently ignore “ours”.
So we switch sides at the chessboard, but the game remains “stalemate”.
Think about how to change the game; and the board on which it’s played.
I like the chessboard analogy. We need to develop our analytic skills in order to play any game of strategy. I believe the government is about to switch the game from the board to the battlefield.
Let us read the proposed 28th amendment project before we close our minds to the single simple and safe method to Restore Liberty. The definition of Convention in 1828 was a “MEETING” between two or more to conduct business. Therefor the States can use their Legislatures as conventions as they did in Ratifying the 21st amendment.
Repealing the amendments used by the current government to ignore the LIMITS of the Constitution will take away the money to bribe States and factions. Leaving DC a small, weak, and limited government -- humm checkmate -- game over we the people win.

We all just sit back and close our eyes while a lousey group of people with to much time on their hands change things with out need or justification. I feel for my children and their children.
