Welcome to the Police State

Today we filed a lawsuit in federal court on behalf of University of Massachusetts-Amherst student Thomas Donovan. The case is against Town of Amherst police officers, who Mr. Donovan alleges assaulted and falsely arrested him for videotaping police activity at the 2014 “Blarney Blowout,” an annual informal student celebration of St. Patrick’s Day and the arrival of spring.

At the event, which took place March 8, 2014, Mr. Donovan saw multiple police officers using what appeared to excessive force making an arrest. Mr. Donovan used his smartphone to record the arrest. Although Mr. Donovan was standing 20-30 feet from this scene, behind a chain link fence, an Amherst police officer in full riot gear approached him and demanded that he stop recording. When Mr. Donovan refused, another officer pepper sprayed him in the face.

A few seconds later, Amherst police sergeant Jesus Arocho tackled Mr. Donovan, knocking the phone out of his hand. The phone continued to record from the ground and captured another Amherst police officer repeatedly stomping on the phone in a failed attempt to destroy it. Video of the incident is available here:

Ok, so you post some video without telling anything.
Who, what, when, where, why.
It could be anywhere, anytime.
You are only preaching to the choir.
I can’t forward it to non-believers because with no additional info it is a waste of time to watch. .

You are right about Alex Jones. I would be embarrassed to recommend him to non-believers. Since he is the source of the info there is no point in passing it on.

I question the validity of attempting to address anyone who is a “non-believer” at this point. We don’t require any further ‘conversation’ on the issue. Our rights are being trampled upon with gross impunity; innocent people are being murdered and abused by so-called “LEO” in growing numbers, every day -- “Stacking charges”, falsifying reports, planting evidence, and the casual use of felonious violence are now the norm for most of the corporate police forces in the nation. Many, but not all sheriff’s departments are just as bad.
Regardless of where you live, at this point every encounter with “the police” is a roll of the dice; will you be treated with the dignity and respect you deserve, or will you be “jacked up” by a self-righteous prick with something to prove to his masters? The only question left is how badly the odds of such an experience are against you.
If a man without a badge treated a citizen in such fashion, deadly force would be warranted. Fact is, the badge confers no additional authority or immunity to such a response under natural law.

To which do you choose to be accountable -- the Law of God, or the tyranny of men; because the Rule of Law is dead, and it’s rotting corpse is laid bare for all to see.

Today, right now, the choice is upon you. Choose well.
