OK. My question. How will the CIA get it’s dark money if the drug business is curtailed? CBDCs replacing cash would end the drug trade, wouldn’t it? Dealing illegal and illicit drugs is a cash business. Imagine the societal impact of junkies not getting their fixes. Imagine the cartel response. Sure would make things spicy on the street. I’m not at all certain CBDCs will be universally accepted and not just for the reasons I’ve just outlined.
