A Concise Explanation of the Law for Simple Minded Jerry Nadler

Personally I doubt very much that any one in Congress knows the Constitution. For instance, it is true that congress has the constitutional duty of oversight of the Executive Branch, but since when do they have the right and power to try and impeach a constitutionally elected president for any thing the president may or may not have done BEFORE they ran for or were elected? Why should Congress have the right to demand Trumps tax records going back 6, 7, 8, or even 10 years before he even ran for the office of president. Show me where in the Constitution, under the requirements for running for or being elected president, does it state that any candidate is constitutionally mandated to make their tax records public. Now I hear that some of the Democrats are now saying that they waited too long to impeach President Trump, that they should have impeached him before the Mueller report was complete. On what grounds would they have had to impeach him. The Democrats are overstepping their bounds and they are the ones that are pushing us into a Constitutional crisis and toward a full blown civil war.
