Above and Beyond: Chick-Fil-A Manager Changes Veteran’s Tire

Chick-fil-A employees like Daryl Howard will stop at nothing to help their customers.

It started as an average day for Daryl, who manages a Chick-fil-A restaurant in Severn, Maryland.

Daryl was working the register and taking Thursday morning orders when a regular customer came through the door.

Mr. Lee, a 96-year-old World War II veteran, found himself in need of more than a coffee and a chicken biscuit on this particular day.  The man was distraught and nearly in tears as he told the employees his story.

Mr. Lee had barely been able to drive to the store, as one of his car’s tires was bad.  He made it into the Chick-fil-A parking lot, but he knew he wouldn’t be able to change the tire on his own.

That’s when Daryl stepped up!

One of this site’s readers asked if I could post this article. I had heard this story previously and wanted to point out that this is America. Not the Amerika that the media and political elite are implementing. This is the America that they want to destroy. Because this is the America that believes in God, not the state.

Lord bless him. Service like this would be lacking at a few other places I can think of, where not only would they not have helped him, they would have also gotten his order wrong!

Nice! I LOVE going to Chick-Fil-A… they are always nice, and the food is not too bad either. Wish we had one here in Murphy!
