THE 2ND AMENDMENT ISN’T ABOUT HUNTING, FOLKS. It’s about defending our families and communities against government gone wrong – it’s our defense against tyranny and democide, plain and simple. Our founding fathers made it quite plain, and their warnings about the dangers of tyranny were almost prophetic.
Now, I’m no lover of conspiracy theories, but this isn’t one. It’s absolutely true; democide has resulted in, by moderate estimates, the deaths of just under 300 Million people in the last century. That is nearly equal to the present lawful population of the United States. You could argue that it has “only been half of that”; but that would still be 145 Million people killed.
THERE IS NO COUNTER-ARGUMENT TO THIS FACT; THERE CAN BE NONE. It is a moral imperative that people have the right and the obligation to resist any and all government organized purveyance of mass death and despair.
You can say that 27 people in Newtown, CT, died, and that it has stirred you to action; that “all this killing is personal for you now.” Well, I had to call 3 people that morning who live in the area, all friends, because I wanted to know that their families were ok, and to let them know that my thoughts were immediately with them. Yes, it is a horrifying thing that school children died; but that is NOT just cause to destroy the rights of a hundred million people in this country who have done no wrong, committed no crime.
As much as I mourn the people who passed in Sandy Hook, I must be clear – those 27 souls, whom God has taken up, DO NOT COUNTER BALANCE THE RIGHTS OF THE 85-100 MILLION LAWFUL GUN OWNERS still living in the United States today, and certainly not those of all the generations yet to be born.
The [fallen] nature of man does not change; we will continue to need a proper balance of strong laws and lawfully armed citizens, right up until Christ’s return, for only He can change the nature of man –
as explained in Romans 8:36, “As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”
Want an explanation for why people rush out to buy guns after tragedies like this? This may well be your answer – “But now,” he said, “take your money and a traveler’s bag. And if you don’t have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one!” –Luke 22:36
