Liberty or Humanity?

Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add ‘within the limits of the law’ because law is often but the tyrant’s will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.

Thomas Jefferson

I have a question: if someone goes out and states that their goal is to infect other people with HB19 so that they contract COVID-19, how does Jefferson’s definition of rightful liberty apply?

The fear of the loss of liberty is certainly warranted if the government issues a national lockdown to curtail the spread of the epidemic. I personally see no other option. I understand that this action may collapse the economy and the government. I (and many others) feel this is inevitable even without the epidemic.

Let’s consider what happens if we do not lockdown the nation. Nevermind, people do not care as long as they can chant their mantra concerning their freedom. What is unsaid is that they will not face reality if we do not implement a lockdown. It is true that 99% of the people will survive the epidemic. This means about 2.4 million deaths in the United States with an 80% infection rate. It does not consider the secondary infections or the inevitable mutations of the virus.

So let me be clear IF a national lockdown is implemented for a specified period of time. Once the threat is over, the lockdown must be lifted. If it is not lifted, we have the duty to water the tree of liberty. Let’s see how many keyboard commandos will stand up to fight for their rightful liberty. As for now, how we deal with this disease is not a measure of our liberty, it is a measure of our humanity.

IMHO; It is the duty of every Christian to “do no harm to another”. Remember the Golden Rule: “to treat others as you would wish to treated”.
And as such, there is no need for a “national lockdown”. Do not trade security for liberty. We’ll do it ourselves for the sake of others.
But that’s just my humble opinion…

Except people are not doing this for the sake of others. I know of two cases where people used this period of self-quarantine to go on vacation in Florida.

We will always have our share of “geniuses” and opportunists; it’s unavoidable. Let’s hope they learn their lesson as they watch those around them drop,

The Corona Hype is being promoted by all the persons involved in the Globalist push to mandate socialist control of everything in the name of protecting Gaia, the Earth. This is not my observation or suspicion. Here are the facts.

As Leo Igwe rightly observed, the other day, writing in the Maravi Post, the response to COVID-19 has taken on the dogmatism of a religion which seeks to suppress all other religions and replace them as the fundamental norm for all social interaction.

But as Christ Horner and Benny Peiser remark, writing on Sunday in the Washington Post, the Corona Hype is quickly revealing itself as the instrument for the Green Agenda long desired by Globalists to control world economies in the name of sustainability and carbon-emission control. Their article, entitled, United States must fight against internationally mandated “coronavirus economy”, they pointedly observe:

The United States should pay close attention to developments in Europe, beyond their governments’ response to the COVID-19 virus. Other contagions loom. For example, we now see proof that the retrenchment embodied by the current “coronavirus economy” could become legally mandated, with no recovery permitted but only worsening, in the name of climate change. While extreme, this is actually unfolding, and the United States ignores the warnings at its peril.

This push to frame Coronavirus response in the terms of sustainability is preached on a nearly daily basis from the Vatican, by Jorge Mario Bergoglio. Thomas D. Williams, writing for Breitbart, summarizes in English translation the recent comments by Bergoglio at in Spanish with Jordi Evole online, in reference to the “pancemc”:

“There’s a saying, which you have heard: ‘God always forgives. We sometimes forgive. Nature never forgives,’” the pope said. “Fires, earthquakes … nature is throwing a tantrum so that we will take care of her.”

The pope was also asked whether he is “optimistic” about the future of humanity in dealing with the coronavirus.

“I don’t like that word, because optimism sounds like makeup to me,” Francis replied. “I have hope in humanity, in men and women, I have hope in nations. I’m very hopeful. People who are going to draw lessons from this crisis to rethink their lives.”

“We are going to come out of this better… fewer, of course. Many are left along the way and it’s hard. But I have faith: we will come through this better.”

If you have learned anything about Bergoglio, in the last seven years, you will understand that what he means by “hope” has everything to do with globalism, socialism and the control of the masses. And he would not be gushing about what is going on, if he were not knowledgeable about the intended direction of the Corona Hype and onboard with that objective 100%.

His worship of Pachamama in October, by desecrating both the Vatican Gardens, where the ashes of Saint Peter and his Companion Martyrs are buried, and Saint Peter’s Basilica, and his shutting down of the Sacraments throughout the world, starting at Rome and extending from Italy to the United States to many other nations, also seems to have this purpose. Because, as Saint Paul the Apostle says in his Letter to the Hebrews, Chapter 7, if there is to be a change of religion (priesthood), there needs also to be a change of law.

And if the New Covenant in Christ’s Blood is abolished, it can only be motivated by those who want to introduce a new covenant and a new religion.

Imagine that!?! Maybe, and hopefully, people will take this opportunity to re-assess their situation with the Almighty and get their priorities, their lives, straight?

Indiana went into “lock down” at midnight, last night.
Will update if and as i see changes. i am an “essential worker” so i will be out and about.
The wording many of these leaders are using bother me. and i believe there is a hidden agenda. and this too is conditioning. There will be a next time as this is a precedence.
Very authoritarian, not asking, there is telling, ‘ordering’, there is a falseness to the numbers and the idea that cases would not increase with an increase in testing. There are threats to revoking business licences for those who do not comply.
We were told march 24, -- april 7, is the ‘critical time.’
    we will see.
New York- Four thousand ventilators??? Did any one read what Aesop had said on the subject of ventilators?

    “federal partners”
“One bad apple effects the whole barrel”
“Where we go one we go all”
There is a collectivist feel to some of the things, as i hear them.

The Pope and many others (false prophets world stage and elsewhere):
Remember there are many harlots associated with this church. many have yet to see how so many of the churches have picked up her habits and traditions.

“There’s a saying, which you have heard: ‘God always forgives. We sometimes forgive. Nature never forgives,’” the pope said. “Fires, earthquakes … nature is throwing a tantrum so that we will take care of her.”
This reveals much, we know God does not always forgive. we also know that in essence the pope is saying God is throwing a tantrum. Now in Truth is this not Blasphemous?
What kind of spirits are in these people? What is evils will and agenda?
We were warned of these types and these days.

Here is another One i heard from our Governor, “The Power of ‘One.’

And the best thing we can do for each other, for this generation, and for our
economy, is to get a handle on the virus by slowing the spread.
That’s what we have power over.
That’s the power of one, and what you can do.
    That’s your power.

The closer i have drawn to God the creepier some of this sounds.
