Once Again, Comments

Comments are to be used for valid discussions and sharing information. Personal attacks are not permitted. I had to blacklist two people today. Both attacked me and other commenters on the site. One told me that he now understood I was not a Christian. The other chastised me for believing in the church and the rapture (and that is putting it kindly).

I do not ask for any funding for this site or the time it requires to maintain it. However, this site’s purpose is to provide a venue for discussions based on information, intelligence and facts. Personal agendas are the last thing that we need on the edge of a civil war.

sorry to hear that David.i am going to ask a question here because i know no where else to ask it lol. what do yall think of coopers mandatory mask wearing for nc? and will yall bow to his dicktater demands?

    • David says:

I will not bow down to anyone but our Lord. The use of masks to mitigate the virus and get the R0 below 0 is proven by scientific papers and the rest of the world. The United States is the only country which has made masks a political issue. Fauci lied and then months later told us they lied because the masks were needed for medical workers.

I would not wear a cloth mask. Cooper is an idiot. If he was serious, he would put out guidelines with effective masks/respirators. I have worn an N95 mask with a respirator in public since January. We have more efficient PPE but the N95 mask so far has proven effective in our low risk zone. We bought 2 3D printers and are also making masks with HEPA filters.

Worst case, a mask will reduce the inoculum of the initial viral load and greater improve your risk of low term bodily damage or death due to the increased time your body has to build antibodies. To me, a mask is a tool, not a means of control by what passes for government.

I hear your pain. Unfortunately, the morons walk among us. God Bless.

  3. Peri McMillan says:

David, I fully agree with you. Everything’s hard enough as it is without others tearing you down. We all need to support each other and especially now. I thank you for your columns.

  4. Rabbi will McCubbins says:

Not a Christian?! He must not be paying one bit of attention to your posts.

  5. Mike Cox says:

David, I agree with you also. I appreciate the work you are doing.

  6. Daniel F. Patrick says:

Did these commentators have any history here? Sounds like lefties trying to start trouble. As for the rapture -- its in Revelations. My thoughts on the end times are God will come when He gets here -- if you think you know when its going to happen you don’t.

    • David says:

They both had posted comments here previously. As for the rapture, I do not believe in it as man has interpreted it. As for the Book of Revelation, this is misinterpreted also and is controversial. However, the Word of God is our guide.

      • Daniel F. Patrick says:

As man has interpreted it? I’m sure there have got to be LOTS of different interpretations on that one. As for Revelation being misinterpreted …I’d kind of be impressed if anyone could convince me they’ve interpreted it 100% correctly. It didn’t exactly seem straight forward to me. I’ll be honest I consider it sort of “above my pay grade”. I believe if you truly belong to Jesus you will end up in the right place in the end, no matter what happens in your own life time.

  7. Paraclete says:

Thank You for your commitment, and willingness,
to help others who’ll defend this Republic from all
    enemies…
As we enter into the final phases of prep, before
the coming unpleasantness begins, it’s important
to not lose sight of the mission at hand…due to
    distractions from weak minded individuals.

    A VISITOR FROM THE PAST
    by Thelen Paulk
I had a dream the other night, I didn’t understand.
A figure walking through the mist, with flintlock in his hand.
His clothes were torn and dirty, as he stood there by the bed,
He took off his three-cornered hat, and speaking low, he said:
“We fought a revolution, to secure our liberty.
We wrote the Constitution, as a shield from tyranny,
For future generations, this legacy we gave,
In this, the land of the free and the home of the brave.”
“The freedom we secured for you, we hoped you’d always keep.
But tyrants labored endlessly, while your parents were asleep.
Your freedom gone, your courage lost, you’re no more
    than a slave,
In this, the land of the free and the home of the brave.”
“You buy permits to travel, and permits to own a gun,
Permits to start a business, or to build a place for one.
On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent,
Although you have no voice in choosing how the money’s spent.”
“Your children must attend a school that doesn’t educate.
Your Christian values can’t be taught, according to the state.
You read about the current news, in a regulated press.
You pay a tax you do not owe, to please the I.R.S.”
“Your money is no longer made of silver or of gold.
You trade your wealth for paper, so your life can be controlled.
You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God in shame,
You’ve taken Satan’s number, as you’ve traded in your name.”
“You’ve given government control to those who do you harm,
So they can padlock churches, and steal the family farm,
And keep the country deep in debt, put men of God in jail,
Harass your fellow countrymen, while corrupted courts prevail.”
“Your public servants don’t uphold the solemn oath they’ve sworn.
Your daughters visit doctors so their children won’t be born.
Your leaders ship artillery and guns to foreign shores,
And send your sons to slaughter, fighting other people’s wars.”
“Can you regain freedom for which we fought and died?
Or don’t you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride?
Are there no more values for which you’ll fight to save?
Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave?”
“Sons of the Republic, arise and take a stand!
Defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the Land!
Preserve our great republic and each God-given right,
And pray to God to keep the torch of freedom burning bright!”
As I awoke he vanished, in the mist from which he came.
His words were true, we are not free. We have ourselves to blame.
For even now as tyrants trample each God-given right,
We only watch and tremble, too afraid to stand and fight.
If he stood by your bedside, in a dream while you’re asleep,
And wondered what remains of our rights he fought to keep,
What would be your answer, if he called out from the grave?
Is this still the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave?

“ I do not ask for any funding for this site or the time it requires to maintain it.“
As one who does the same, as a few of your regulars an cohorts know of what I speak, I understand why you do what you do. I likewise thank and appreciate the effort. Thank you. I agree with your position.

  9. Gryphon says:

Commenters who rely heavily on Christian Scriptures to frame their writings are expressing their Beliefs, (however eligible for Interpretation they are) but I have stopped looking at a number of otherwise interesting Websites, because the comments section became Sectarian Battlegrounds of who had the “Correct” interpretation of any given quote from the Bible. Never mind what happened when I inserted a comment expressing Disbelief in their entire mythology.

The Infighting has to stop, as it degrades the value of small Websites like this to spread Information and Opinions contrary to the bolshevik ‘msm’. I would not be surprised if some of the Divisive commenters are just Trolls.

  10. james says:

” If we continue to fight among ourselves, how can we expect to win the war?” I agree with this and add my thanks for what you are doing, for what little it’s worth. I have long been disappointed in the ugliness of some posters, not so much here, but on sites like WRSA, it just seems so uncalled for. But I guess that’s just people.
