I will go out on the proverbial limb and make a prediction: the government will use the label “Sovereign Citizen” as the trigger for their event to seize power. As written previously:
From Cleon Skousen’s “The Making of America” printed in 1985:
It is a historical fact than in nations where the political leaders want to curtail the rights of the people and take away their property and freedom, they always begin by trying to disarm them. This is usually done by first requiring them to register their firearms and imposing a heavy penalty on those who do not. It has been determined that in many instances the next step is to deliberately provoke widespread rioting and violence. The government can then use this as an excuse to confiscate all firearms in the possession of private citizens and do it on the grounds that “we have to somehow stop all this killing.”
Let’s review some of the labels that have been used to label groups as terrorists by the DHS:
- These groups hold the anniversaries of certain dates as significant such a Ruby Ridge, Waco and Hitler’s birthday
- They oppose abortion, support gun rights and are affiliated with the Ku Klux Klan
- They are fearful of big government, espouse support for the Constitution and want to kill police officers
- These groups collect firearms, survivalist books and explosives
- These extremists read books such as Patriots, One Second After and The Anarchist Cookbook
- They are religious zealots, reading the book of Revelation, speak of the second coming of Christ and plan mass murders to summon the end of the world
- These people grow their own food, raise livestock and plot attacks on commercial food production facilities
Not to mention the labeling of our veterans as a threat.
But these labels have lost traction. Attacking Christianity, Constitutionals and senior citizen Tea Party member will not galvanize a national response like a Reichstag Fire. And make no mistake, that is our “federal” government’s goal. They are out of options, gold and fiat currency. So what label can become the catalyst to justify the “coup”?
Anti-government extremists opposed to taxes and regulations pose a growing threat to local law enforcement officers in the United States, the FBI warned on Monday.
These extremists, sometimes known as “sovereign citizens,” believe they can live outside any type of government authority, FBI agents said at a news conference.
The extremists may refuse to pay taxes, defy government environmental regulations and believe the United States went bankrupt by going off the gold standard.
Routine encounters with police can turn violent “at the drop of a hat,” said Stuart McArthur, deputy assistant director in the FBI’s counterterrorism division.
“We thought it was important to increase the visibility of the threat with state and local law enforcement,” he said.
The Sovereign Citizen label will work and it is being used to “train” our law enforcement officers. And it is working as shown in this video:
Why would people even want to be a Sovereign Citizen? I know my definition of sovereignty:
Article IV, Section 4 of the US Constitution:
The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.
A state citizen is a threat to the complete jurisdiction of a federal government. Is that why Constitutionalists are considered a threat?
In the early days of the newly elected Obama administration in 2009, many citizens were shocked to learn that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) had issued an internal memo that referred to conservative Christians who believe the Bible, citizens who emphasize a strict adherence to the Constitution, and those who are pro-life as “potential homegrown terrorists.”
Apparently such thinking has also begun to infect state police organizations and other law enforcement groups.
According to Steven H. Ahle, the Colorado State Police recently held a seminar for law enforcement personnel in the state during which conservative evangelical Christians and Catholics are referred to as “extremists” who must be watched closely by law enforcement.
