We Must Be Doing Something Right

An update on the issue concerning comments on this site.

I have reviewed the settings in the WordPress plugin and they are correct. Comments are still going to the trash folder for no reason but we are checking and restoring them frequently. This morning, I “restored” a trashed comment to be approved and it was deleted.

As with the daily newsfeed where links are replaced with porn site links, this is just another means to marginalize this site. In other words, we must be doing something right.

I had wondered about what I was seeing the last few days, and as a new visitor, was beginning to question what sort of people I was looking at here.

Patience being a Virtue, I’m glad I stuck it out. Your explanation is both timely and wise. You did yourself and your readership a great service by printing this!

You have kept me busy with all your comments on the T.L. Davis article.. lol.. Every one of your comments went straight to the trash bin for some unknown reason. Thank you for your interaction here at NCRenegade.

Just looking for a constructive outlet for my rage, brother. I love my country and my native Virginia…probably too much.

I know the enemy we’re up against and I’d like nothing more than to get on with the boogaloo, but I’ve lived long enough to know that what we want is rarely what is wise.

I deeply appreciate you letting me have a voice even though we may disagree in some points. That takes integrity.

If we manage to make it past the 20th without incident…and I really hope we do (God works in mysterious ways)…we can move past the unpleasant conversations of late and focus on how we move forward.

As a Bible believing Christian, I know this all only ends one way in the long run, but I pray daily that this cup be passed from my lips. As an older gentleman, my short run IS the long run.

Sorry for any problems I might have caused you personally.
