What Happened to the Tea Party?

There is no Wake County Tea Party. There is Triangle Conservatives Unite!, Act for America Chapters, Feet to the Fire but no “Wake County Tea Party”. What happened to the Tea Party movement? The Republican Party used it for their own purposes and they are still using the Tea Party movement (or what is left of it) for support.  I wonder why this woman called me at my home in Wake County to attend a Republican function in Goldsboro (an hour away) in Wayne County under the guise of representing a fictitious group? I am an unaffiliated registered voter but I rarely attend political functions or support individual candidates. Maybe this was a random act of desperation. Needless to say, I did not attend the associated functions.

Wake up people. We can either follow in the footsteps of our founding fathers or march in lockstep to political ideologies that caused our economic collapse and loss of freedom.

a lot of things shut down the tea party, mostly politicians on both sides that didn’t want to share power with we the people
