NC House Immigration Committee hearing on Wednesday, March 28th

UPDATE: The Consul General of Mexico will also be speaking at this event

Concerned Citizens and Immigration Reformers,

Plan to attend the fourth @ 1:00 PM in the Legislative Office Building (tentative Room 643) just behind the NC General Assembly Building in Raleigh.

THIS HEARING WILL ALLOW PUBLIC COMMENT.

If you plan to speak, remember the time limit is 3 minutes per person.   You can say whatever you wish.

I would suggest we focus on how illegal immigrants use more in social services than they pay in taxes, and how illegals especially hurt working-poor citizens by taking their jobs and driving down their wages.   The same is true of illegals and their dependents using social services dollars and services that should be going to our own poor and elderly poor, and how state and local education dollars are being spent on the dependents of illegals and how that affects the children of citizens who are needy.  I have a number of other ideas if you wish to contact me.  The key is to relate their behavior and actions of being in our Country illegally with consequences to citizens and the children of citizens.  Also remember to thank the committee for having the hearings and that you expect them to take action in ways the State can take action.

Invite friends to speak who have lost jobs to illegals.

More to follow on this in the next few days, but make plans now to attend.  We need to keep the heat on and show the NC General Assembly that citizens are behind them and want continued action against illegal immigration in ways the State can take action.

PLEASE REPLY TO ME AND LET ME KNOW IF YOU’RE COMING!!!!!!

I will be attending as well.

Update from NCFIRE:

Make plans to attend the fourth NC House Immigration Committee hearing in Raleigh. This will be a “Public Input” meeting. You will be able to voice your opinion on illegal immigration in NC. You will have 3 minutes to speak.

“Sign-ups” will begin at 11:30 am and the meeting will begin at 1:00 pm. You MUST sign up if you plan to speak!

The Consul General of Mexico will also be speaking at this event

We really need as many people as possible to attend this event. Don’t sit back let an agent of a foreign government, tell us what to do about illegal immigration in NC. If you can come and don’t, then you have no right to complain about the situation we are in.

PLEASE COME and bring 3 people with you!

Remember: act appropriately. Outbursts and disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
