The News Agencies and the CDC are ramping up…I would not be surprised to hear about additional cities making the decission to spray “insecticide” on their populations under “emergency authority” any time now.
(CDC) Some of what happens in life is luck. Many people who are bitten by an infected mosquito won’t get sick—many others aren’t as lucky. More than 30,000 people in the US have been reported with West Nile virus disease since 1999, and of those almost 13,000 have been seriously ill and over 1,200 have died.
And here is a smattering of the news on West Nile iover the past two days, fromBrittain’s BreakingNews.com
(CBS/AP) West Nile virus continues to ramp up in the United States. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention say there have been 693 cases of the disease as of August 14, with 26 deaths.
More than 200 cases of the virus have been reported in Dallas County, and 10 people have died. In the state, there have been more than 380 cases of West Nile virus in 2012, including 16 deaths, on track to have the most cases in the state since the virus first emerged in 2002, health officials said in a statement.

(News9.com) OKLAHOMA CITY – The number of people who’ve died in Oklahoma after being infected with West Nile Virus (WNV) has increased to three.
The Oklahoma State Department of Health reports one person died in Seminole County and two people died in Oklahoma County. Another 38 people have been hospitalized with the disease.

Yesterday I posted “Dallas Under Attack by Mosquitoes” – a somewhat mocking title meant to stimulate thought about the topic of West Nile Virus (WNV). Today we have another bit of sensational news – Oklahoma is having an outbreak of WNV, also. What I want to know is why the national coverage? Less than a thousand cases out of some 330 Million American citizens, and only 26 deaths across the entire nation, yet it is hitting the national wire? Yes, this is truly tragic for the infected people and their families, but what makes it national news? What is the agenda, because all “news” these days is agenda driven.
I think there may be a hint as to the agenda, in the fact of when these stories became “escalated” – when the question of pesticide spraying came into play. The government making a decision to spray chemicals which are “for the common good” even though they pose individual risks. It is a subtle promotion of collectivist attitudes: “this is the reason we need government” type noise, and all that. But while I clearly stated yesterday that I absolutely do not believe the WNV outbreaks are an overt use of a biological agent against the American population (West Nile would be a total failure as a bio-warfare instrument) I can’t be so sure that the spraying of “pesticide” over areas populated by millions of people is without ulterior motives.
Like the mandatory vaccinations for school-age children, and the causal irradiation of airline passengers every day, these are invasive procedures with side effects which are intentionally not investigated by TPTB (or are investigated, but we don’t hear of the results), and for which there is diminishing means for citizens to opt-out. More and more, our government treats us like cattle…to be vaccinated, irradiated, treated for pests and infections, branded, and herded about like the country is one big ranch, and we are livestock – the property of a ruling elite. Scenarios like this do not end well…ever.
I believe that the media is stirring up fear of West Nile Virus as a Trojan Horse – to ensure that there will be no complaints about the government spraying “insecticide” upon millions of people.
Remember what our government did to the sharecroppers in Tuskegee … who were subjected to the “Tuskegee Experiment“started by FDR in the mid 1930s through the US Public Health Service – wherein these citizens of African descent were enrolled in a program to “observe the progression of syphilis.” These citizens were promised food, medical care, and ‘burial costs’, in return for their participation in the study, but The US Health Service willfully withheld from these people the knowledge that they had been infected with syphilis, for no other reason than that the US Health Service had a morbid curiosity – they wanted to watch these citizens die ‘for scientific purposes’. The people of the Tuskegee Experiment were never treated, even though penicillin was validated as an effective cure for the disease within the next decade. The “experiment” continued for nearly 40 years, until 1973, at which point all but a handful of the subjects in the experiment had died. It was an EVIL thing to do – inexcusable and patently EVIL.
Progressives were responsible for imagining and executing the morally reprehensible Tuskegee Experiment, whose real purpose was to evaluate a possible means for the “management of an undesirable population”. (Margaret Sanger’s words, not mine). We have the same brand of ‘progressive’ eugenics-loving monsters running our country again at this point, so I cannot trust the motives behind any “public health initiative” which they may attempt to undertake.
As far as I’m concerned, the fear of West Nile Virus is but a trojan horse, pumped into the public consciousness by a complicit media, and intended to usher in the spraying of chemicals on America population centers, without regard for personal consent… What that spray actually contains is a mystery I do not wish to contemplate, for these are strange times, and we have many who believe that massive population reduction is the only means of “saving the earth”.
Unfounded conspiracy theory? Probably, but I’d rather be safe than sorry, and nothing is safe when the government intervenes in an “emergency”…
WE HAVE BEEN WARNED

Couldn’t decide whether to put this tidbit into the story, so I’ll drop it in as a separate comment -- the US Gubbament has been “thinking about doing vaccine testing on children” lately. http://www.foxnews.com/health/2011/10/28/government-considers-testing-anthrax-vaccine-in-kids/
And I don’t like it one bit!

Aaaaand so much for the opt-out. Judge denies injuction against sraying for mosquitoes, says spraying will go forward without even a vote of council members in Dallas…affirming that the abrogation of the city council’s authority is provided under the ’emergency measures’ provisions…
