(New York Post) Associate Justice of the Supreme Court Antonin Scalia was found dead Saturday on a luxury resort in West Texas, federal officials said.

Scalia, 79, was a guest at the Cibolo Creek Ranch, a resort in the Big Bend region south of Marfa. MySanAntonio.com said he died of apparent natural causes.

Scalia arrived at the ranch on Friday and attended a private party with about 40 people, the website of the San Antonio Express News said. When he did not appear for breakfast, a person associated with the ranch went to his room and found a body.

that’s the worst news I’ve heard since they said obama was re-elected

Maybe americans will stop babbling about their “2nd amendment rights” [b/c that will soon be a thing of the past]. They better start understanding NOW that the federal gov’t may not restrict our arms because arms restriction is NOT an enumerated power.

And I’m suspicious. 79 is young to die.

A man I have admired for many years. We have lost, what I believe to be, the one true Constitutionalist one the court. I pray his family has welcomed him along with the angles in Heaven.

A welcomed voice to sing everlasting praises unto God.

It will be interesting to see if the GOP will yet again use thi opportunity to hand more power to Obama and the communist/fascist all the while complaining ‘they can’t do anything’ about it.

A sad day for America. Not much left for America on the Supreme Court.

That makes two of us. I may be paranoid, but here is how I see it. Trump threatened to sue Cruz for being constitutionally ineligible, which he is. Either someone on the Right or someone on the left had to insure that they had enough liberal votes to rule against Trump and keep the case from coming before the Court, because if the Court were to hear the case, the fact that Obama is an ineligible president would have to be exposed to the entire country and the world. With the passing of Scalia, it is forgone conclusion that Obama will appoint a radical liberal to take his place, and it is also a forgone conclusion that the go along to get along spineless Republican controlled Senate WILL confirm who ever Obama nominates.

Joe, I believe you can absolutely count on it.

I am stunned and shaken, and very very very suspicious. The SECOND I heard the news I experienced a visceral tightening that told me not only that this man had most likely been assassinated, but that this next year will be one of even greater turmoil. Hope your bug-out bags are packed, guys. Maybe my reaction is a result of the trepidation I walk around with because of the shambles our country is in -- -- but something tells me I’ve got practical reasons to be in fear of what’s ahead -- whatever the truth of the death of our Supreme Court Justice. God rest and keep you, Antonin Scalia.
