If You are White You do not have to pick a side, one will be picked for you. Or you can just surrender. Lancelot was a fictional character who was flawed for literary interests. The greater point, the one Lewis is trying to convey, is that a man can choose to be both an incredibly violent warrior when needed and an incredibly meek and gentle man when it is time for it.
Man’s nature is to be one or the other.

To be both, not a blend or middle ground, but both at the same time takes incredible control and a belief in a greater power than oneself.
We are about to be tested, and I want to be able to retain myself if there’s an “after” and not be lost to barbarism or to slavery by weakness.

My concern is, we have become to stratified and Godless to produce a large supply of individuals like Lancelot. I feel he lies nearer the tail of the bell shaped curve. Which end will prevail? How long before a balance once again is reached is anyone’s guess.
It is approaching the time we, as individuals, harden our hearts and find our God of mercy as well. Our men and women that have served know this and never stop giving of themselves in my opinion because they have seen what mankind is capable of. Thank you to all of them, God go with them all and God be with us all in the future.
Let us all pray the correction will leave as small a stain on humanity as possible. I truly feel we can’t avoid the correction. It was of all our making in one way or another. Some just had a larger presents at the table than others.
