Mad as hell

Having lived on this earth and the United States for some seventy-two years, I am frustrated and saddened when I look at the state of my country and government. When all the federal income taxes that I have paid during my entire working life wouldn’t fund the losses of the Senate barber shop for one year something is very, very wrong.

The senate barber shop loses $340,000.00 each year while providing our elite with $20.00 haircuts. The Senate restaurants and coffee shops have lost $18 million since 1993. Each senator receives a salary of $174,000.00 and an administrative slush fund of between two and four million dollars a year – with no accountability of how the money is spent.

The Obama family has soaked the American taxpayers to the tune of $70.5 million for vacations since he took office. House and senate members have the greatest vacation packages that the taxpayers can provide – does anyone really believe that some congress member really needs to go to Hawaii, and take his family, to become better informed??? There folks roam around the world on the taxpayer’s dime like they were Saudi royal princes – and nationality aside – they are!!!!

The Affordable Care Act a.k.a. Obamacare (which is anything but affordable) was passed by congressional members who were cajoled, threatened, intimidated, and purchased – this after they refused to even read the bill that they were approving. Obamacare was imposed on the serfdom of America but the very people who forced this mess on the people promptly exempted themselves from the program.

Our throwbacks to the toga wearing Roman politicians live opulently – really no differently than the “one percenters” they pretend to revile, but, who fill their re-election coffers. They have exempted themselves from many of the federal laws which apply to the serfdom. Their salaries are about three and one-half that of the average United States citizen and they rarely, if ever restrain their spending of our money. The Democrats blame the Republicans and the Republicans blame the Democrats – members of both parties merely grin, back-slap each other at Washington cocktail parties and play the game. The reality is that politicians of both parties are merely wind-up toys that are controlled by enormous campaign contributors – if there was truth in politics they would be required to wear jackets like the NASCAR drivers to indicate who pays for their participation and votes.

Politicians are only expert on two things: How to get elected and how to get re-elected. They use meaningless promises to influence the vote of the uninformed, greedy, poorly-educated, or slothful. They turn a blind eye to the millions of illegals who work in America while continuing to fund social programs for millions of citizens who refuse to work. The so-called “safety net” has become a lifestyle and excellent income source for far too many people who have figured out how to scam the system. Somewhere around fifty million people are on food stamps (SNAP) – most Democrat voters – and the program is rife with fraud and abuse and with very little oversight.

In order for a congressional member to gain any meaningful position in congress, they have to kiss the ring of their leadership and swear allegiance no matter how stupid or pork ridden the issue. When an individual enters congress he or she must check their virtue, integrity, and common since at the door. Ronald Regan once said “It has been said that politics is the second oldest profession. I have learned that it bears a striking resemblance to the first.” He was most certainly correct – one must sell oneself to rise in politics!!!

While the middle class continues to struggle the government becomes more secretive, bureaucratic, and dictatorial in telling the serfdom what we must do in even trivial matters. Then they throw in thousands of regulations which strangle the desire to start or improve a business, allow cheaply made imports to glut our markets, and the politicians clearly have their heel on our throats.
Into this web of deceit and self-serving motivations enters Donald Trump on his white steed to save our nation. And the dumb asses who run our political system and government still cannot understand why Trump is hitting a nerve or why throngs of people; Republican, Democrat, and Independent, are turning out to vote for him. When one turns on a television and hears the constant drone of how to stop Donald Trump – it is easy enough to see career politicians’ real priority – retaining power and their contribution flow at any cost!!!!!
