My Utmost 11/30

i suppose it is in the way you look at it, but i find myself at odds with the way this article is laid out.
Many of us see those who lay claim to being saints and claim to be saved and are very proud in their proclamations! And then we see how they are, how they speak,how they act etc.
1 Corinthians 5:6
Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?
“And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes to heaven, but smote on his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.”

The Pharisee and Tax Collector
…12I fast twice a week and pay tithes of all that I acquire.’ 13But the tax collector stood at a distance, unwilling even to lift up his eyes to heaven. Instead, he beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner!’ 14I tell you, this man, rather than the Pharisee, went home justified. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted.”…
People seem to get to this “I am a saint” stage, and then have a tendency to take Him for granted.
Daniel prayed in the ‘we’ for many whom he saw that had been compromised and led astray.
“For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted.”
