“Jesus has some extraordinarily peculiar sheep: some that are unkempt and dirty, some that are awkward or pushy, and some that have gone astray! But it is impossible to exhaust God’s love”

Saw something last night that ‘Hit’ home.
i watched as a president suggested suing everybody, and their mother was the answer and that justice is served in this way, should we be punched in the face? And told this young man, that he was going to be very wealthy.
Now in the thought of Keep it simple, What does our Guide book tell us? How does our Master recommend we proceed in the same situation?

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8, esp.v.3. Turn the other cheek only for the truth and the gospel.
bibleater,
i (we) are very literally speaking of a man that got punched in the face. What does turn the other cheek mean in this Basic, and simple scenario?
If i sued everyone that has taken a poke at me, or done me wrong? And yes i have reacted, poorly at times. And yet time with Him has a way of healing.
So what Truth is it that we seek? Mathew 5:38-39
If the Young man was to forgive, would there not be a better lesson here? Even if the other side reacts to the opposite.
What of the other example smeared through the news, washington times and the catholic boy? Is his life ruined, is he another poor victim, and is that how we as followers should feel?
A-hhh but 21 million dollars could help us over that victim hump, not to mention teaching a “valuable lesson” (and all those watching) to the times?
What are the lessons being taught? Forgiveness, discipline?
Trump also, that night C-Pac spoke of withholding $$$ from the universities and an Executive order on free speech?
i do not wish for any tax monies especially federal, feeding any leftist or otherwise universities.
All our institutions right down to the local are subsidised for a hidden agenda of control.
