Paul Before the Areopagus
The Unknown God
22Then Paul stood up before the Areopagus and said, “Men of Athens, I see that in every way you are very religious. 23For as I walked around and examined your objects of worship, I even found an altar with the inscription: To an unknown God. Therefore what you worship as something unknown, I now proclaim to you. 24The God who made the world and everything in it is the ‘Master’ of heaven and earth and does not live in temples made by human hands.…

i changed Lord to ‘Master.’
Skipping the prior verse has led to perversion of this verse (John 7:38). It is Christ’s belly that will flow, the believer is told to drink.
No, it is not. The listener is told to drink from Christ if he is thirsty. The following 2 verses are taken together to mean that the Spirit (water) will pour out of man once He is given and after Christ is ascended. The better translation is “will flow from within them”.
John 4:14
“but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.”
The entirety of the Gospel is about this, Christ removing the veil, being the intermediary between man and Yah. Filling men with His goodness so it will flow out of them to others.
I don’t know about, “the better translation”, The received texts have His capitalized in 7:38 to preserve the distinction between the source (river) and the conduit (well), as in 4:14.
I am just trying to be a careful workman, not usurping the authority of the Comforter or the words of the Lord in our zeal to be a servant to others.
Rightly dividing the Word is our task.
Perhaps this is why we are told not to premeditated what we will say when delivered up for a testimony against the antichrist.
Thank you for your love of Father’s Word. The famine for truth (Amos 8:11) is truly upon us.
