Those of you who have been following my writing for a while, will recall that I have repeatedly stated that the first Iraq war was a result of the US quitting the deal which our State Department had made with Saddam Hussein – namely that if he would wage a sustained war against Iran to keep them from growing into a regional power, then the US would obtain right-of-way and provide financial and technical assistance for Saddam to build a pipeline – at least to the Mediterranean sea in Syria, so that Saddam could sell his oil and natural gas to Europe without having to load tankers and send them to navigate the Straits of Hormuz and go through the Suez canal.
Because we broke that deal, Saddam seized Kuwait and its American-built port facilities for exporting his oil.
We broke the deal with Saddam for two reasons – 1. the US government no longer wanted to fund or be associated with the war between Iraq and Iran, and 2. because Saudi Arabia had grown to be such a financial ally that we changed our plans, and promised instead to help the Saudis to obtain the same pipeline right-of-way, only now the promise includes underwater rights all the way to Greece and/or Italy.
This pipeline proposition is worth literally billions of $USD per year; and for their work to obtain the Rights-of-way, Hillary and 0bama were each promised an annual ‘stipend’ of over $10 Million from the Saudi’s for their “assistance” – this ‘stipend’ is heritable, it can be handed down, and will continue to pay for as long as the pipeline generates revenue.
There were other, secondary deals tacked onto this arrangement, as well – particularly that Saudi Arabia wanted to “break” several secular governments in the region, and replace them with islamic Theocracies friendly to Saudi Arabia’s “regional leadership”, which explains why we saw the “Arab Spring” – which was both a cover for the toppling of Assad’s regime in Syria, and an objective in itself to increase Saudi influence in the region.
All this and much, much more stands to be revealed in the coming weeks. You should expect the next few weeks to be the most turbulent times you have ever seen, geopolitically, as all the domestic and global repercussions of literally dozens of back-door deals are exposed to the light of day.
And while some of this will simply “make news” on television, there are a number of domestic “deals” which, when revealed, are likely to cause unrest – particularly in larger metro areas.
It’s going to be a rollercoaster ride, for sure. I pray you are prepared.
