I originally published this article on 23 March, 2015 – but I present it again, unaltered, for those who may have missed it, or who did not see the significance at the time –
The final birth pang of the tyranny presently in process of being delivered to us may well be the product of the 20th Amendment to our constitution, “ratified” in American Progressivism’s first heyday, over 80 years ago –
Amendment XX of the US Constitution (Passed by Congress March 2, 1932. Ratified January 23, 1933) reads, in part –
Section 3. If, at the time fixed for the beginning of the term of the President, the President elect shall have died, the Vice President elect shall become President. If a President shall not have been chosen before the time fixed for the beginning of his term, or if the President elect shall have failed to qualify, then the Vice President elect shall act as President until a President shall have qualified; and the Congress may by law provide for the case wherein neither a President elect nor a Vice President elect shall have qualified, declaring who shall then act as President, or the manner in which one who is to act shall be selected, and such person shall act accordingly until a President or Vice President shall have qualified.
Section 4. The Congress may by law provide for the case of the death of any of the persons from whom the House of Representatives may choose a President whenever the right of choice shall have devolved upon them, and for the case of the death of any of the persons from whom the Senate may choose a Vice President whenever the right of choice shall have devolved upon them.

WE HAVE BEEN WARNED
Alas, Babylon, Queen of Kingdoms, who should be tender (towards them) but is not. Who hath been given a reign over the people of God, and hath abused them without mercy. But the Lord of Hosts shall judge thee, and thy convictions shall be rendered unto thee most powerfully by My Word.
Thy pride has grown ripe in the pit of thy imagining, and in so going thou hast declared in wickedness; I shall be queen forever; I am, and there is none beside me.
Here rises the day of evil unto thee and thee alone, which thou hast invited into thy house with a wink and a nod, and thou shalt not know the coming of it; a calamity shall come suddenly upon thee, which thou can not resist; and thy multitude of counselors shall be found in most grievous fault, and be all cut down, and as stubble shall be caught up in the racing of flames which proceed from thy wickedness and idolatry; and everything which thou hast wrought shall be burned up, consumed, and forgotten of men.
Thy nakedness shall be discovered, and thy shame shall be seen: I will take vengeance, and no man shall resist me. A heap of ruins shall thou be, forever; and thy orphan shall not see the rising of a new day; for intoxicated with blasphemies are all thy servants, and all thy captains shall rejoice as they turn upon thee and thy house, rending it into many pieces, and shall consume even the remnant which flee by night. Because thou hast made of the royal city a house of abomination; the greatness of its fall shall echo unto the end of the world, and because thou hast taken the fleece of My flock without care, so shall your nakedness and shame be recorded, forever.
Nothing shall remain to thee save sorrows without number, and none shall come to thee in consolation. But even the Assyrians shall forsake thee, for I shall turn thy waters bitter, and thy soil shall not produce; and thy treasures shall I corrupt for ten thousand years, such that no man shall come unto thee, even with hope of taking thy spoils, which shall be burried forever in the dust of thy failed greatness.
hmmmm time to repent .. and move
Tyranny by the side door. Should neither the President Elect, nor the Vice President Elect “qualify” -- as determined by Congress -- then the Congress gets to choose our next Dear Leader… and since there is no compunction as to time, such an appointed leader could rule indefinitely…
Could it get any worse? Why, yes. Yes it could… we could find ourselves facing an Article V Convention, while under the authority of such an appointed executive. And only the delegates which the appointed executive favors might be allowed to make it to the convention, under a martial law type scenario executed by such an appointee at Congress’es direction, or by his own whim.
