In the Bible, what does having you heart hardened mean? Who does this and why. Is this something we should seek?
Now i understand the patriots battle call for this but is there a resulting conflict in the mix?

They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts.

Over the past few years, this battle cry has been heard. In a sense i do understand this calling. And yet i can not escape what the Bible says.
If God is on our side, or if “we are on His, do we need hardened hearts, should we seek this? Do we in fact need a hardened heart to survive or to defend?

This may be a repeat reply of sorts, my first did not seem to post.

Gentlemen, do you not think Godly men, warriors, have had to harden their hearts to do what must be done all through the history of men? Do you think seeing the horrors men do to other men when fighting for their lives and the lives of their families and tribe does not require a man to steel himself and be hard?
Do you think David was not hard in battle? Do you think Joshua did not harden his heart when God commanded that EVERY person and animal be destroyed when they were taking cities?
Harden your hearts in the scriptures offered above is in relation to Yah, do not harden yourself into rebellion against Him or his commands. Hardening your hearts against those who would destroy your family is a different matter.
The God of Moses is still God today.
Here is what i think and know, the god of this world has brought mass confusion, and it is time to sort through it.
The God of Moses is still God today, i agree. And yet contrary to what the world teaches He wants (needs) us to change. Not to repeat the sins of the past.
Have we?
i do not believe a man needs a hard heart to do what needs to be done.
As the scripture i posted above will tell you God will harden men’s hearts against one another, this is a punishment.
Well we will find out who has the steel resolve very soon . The enemy of YHVH and human liberty is among us as we speak. As for me and my house we will serve YHVH . We will serve his enemies the destruction they deserve without pity as He commands.
