Two essays posted on the same day …

… each of which needs to be read completely:

The Club of Rome:

In searching for a common enemy against whom we can unite, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like, would fit the bill. In their totality and their interactions these phenomena do constitute a common threat which must be confronted by everyone together. But in designating these dangers as the enemy, we fall into the trap, which we have already warned readers about, namely mistaking symptoms for causes. All these dangers are caused by human intervention in natural processes, and it is only through changed attitudes and behaviour that they can be overcome. The real enemy then is humanity itself.”

By making humanity’s very existence the great threat, the globalists intended to unify the public around the idea of keeping themselves in check. That is to say, the public would have to sacrifice their freedoms and submit to control in the belief that the human species is too dangerous to be allowed liberty.

Ted Kaczynski was Right:

6/ Kaczynski against Leftism:

“Leftism is in the long run inconsistent with wild nature, with human freedom and with the elimination of modern technology. Leftism is collectivist; it seeks to bind together the entire world (both nature and the human race) into a unified whole.”

7/ Kaczynski devotes a large chunk of his manifesto attacking leftism

But in a powerful paragraph, he argues that the conservatives are fools too

Biden administration signs five-year contract to house migrant children in North Carolina neighborhood

The Biden administration will begin housing unaccompanied migrant children smuggled by cartels across the southern border in a North Carolina community, the Washington Examiner has learned.
Potentially thousands of parentless children will be detained at an abandoned school campus within a middle-class neighborhood in Greensboro, North Carolina, before the children are released to sponsors across the country.

The government is hiring 800 workers to staff the facility, the American Hebrew Academy said in a statement, an indication of just how wide-scale the operation will become in the next few weeks.

The children are slated to begin arriving in Greensboro as early as next weekend for what could be a massive, long-term undertaking by the Biden administration to detain immigrant children away from the border. The campus is located behind a Target store and directly across the street from a large residential neighborhood.

American Hebrew Academy. Who knew? Ask them how much taxpayer money they’ll be pulling in for this. Nationwide, these “charities” pulled in $148 billion in the last year. Probably $200 billion this year. And, don’t forget, Affirmative Action. The migrant kids go to the front of the line, in front of our kids, grand kids. Turn out the lights. There is no legitimate reason to hold back now.
