You Decide Who Is Worse

Representative Brandon from Guilford County made the following statement in the Government Committee Hearing on May 19th:

Here is Representative Ross defining “American”:

You can decide which is worse but both statements reflect a problem in the general assembly.

Here are the two definitions from the Webster Dictionary:

Illegal: not according to or authorized by law

Alien: relating, belonging, or owing allegiance to another country or government

The term illegal alien in our country by definition is a person who is not a citizen of the United States and is in this country without authorization. I find it amazing that a state representative who proposes and votes on legislation (laws for Mr. Brandon) cannot understand that something or someone who is not legal is by definition illegal.

To whomever Mr. Brandon and Mrs. Ross are pandering, they are not representing their legal constituents or the interests of North Carolina’s work force.

All the more reason to declare and define yourself as a North-Carolinian. A Citizen of one of the original country/states that created the “American” Union.
