This is why you don’t draw on a drawn gun!

Very good info. Terribly sad for cop and his family to not make it home safe, but he made a lethal error in focusing his effort and attention to his own gun instead of the imminent threat of the gun in the perp’s hand. The cop’s hands should have gone to the bad guy’s hands & gun, control the gun as fast as possible, maybe create time/space to draw or simply stay hands on at that point.
