Four of ten of our aircraft carriers are in port at the Naval Station in Norfolk, VA at this time. USS Washington is docked at its home port of Yokosuka, Japan.It appears that only two (Nimitz and Stennis) out of ten aircraft carriers are deployed at this time.
I would point out somethoughts on this matter:
1. If the bulk of our naval aircraft carriers are sitting idle, we have too many ships.
2. This brings to mind the conspiracy theories surrounding Pearl Harbor.
3. Our national security is at risk by our commander-in-chief.
The reasons given for this situation do not make any sense at this time. Tensions in the Middle East, Japan, China, Russia and North Korea have not been higher than now. At least this will provide the president plausible deniability when the next Benghazi plea for help comes.

Navy: Lincoln Refueling Delayed, Will Hurt Carrier Readiness
The U.S. Navy will delay the refueling of the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72) for an unknown period because of the uncertain fiscal environment due to the ongoing legislative struggle, the service told Congress in a Friday message obtained by USNI News.
Lincoln was scheduled to be moved to Huntington Ingalls Industries’ (HII) Newport News Shipyard later this month to begin the 4-year refueling and complex overhaul (RCOH) of the ship.
“This delay is due to uncertainty in the Fiscal Year 2013 appropriations bill, both in the timing and funding level available for the first full year of the contract,” the message said.
“CVN-72 will remain at Norfolk Naval Base where the ships force personnel will continue to conduct routine maintenance until sufficient funding is received for the initial execution of the RCOH.”
Well -- The “voters” for 2012 were only concerned with: free “entitlements for them ” and the Democrats played on this. America got what they wanted -- by hook & crook !

Until The Voters get their heads out of their: “Cartoon Networks” for once — don’t expect anything drastic to ever change, politically at least — other than America becoming a: Socialist/Communist Welfare Nation. This is just another example of the o’bama adminestrations shell game politisc. We are broke. We cannot afford to “gas up our fleet”? We can send other muslim countries money for mosque refurbishing, jets, all kinds of othe aids but not ot refuel our ships. Germany, Russia and China are climbing the ladder of sucess and we suck because of our political leaders. This didn’t happen in 4 -8 -- or 12 years. It’s all of them. FEMA camps weren’t built by o’bama. It’s been going on for a long time.Pack your backs kids it’s over.
I think the collapse of the economy is the down fall of the USA. The power grid hackers and all the other hackers can do their worse but the world knows what we owe and all the major powers are making deals without our money in it. The US DOLLAR IS DEAD. The FED prints 85 Billion a month to prop up the stock market, housing and banking to say the least. We owe more than ALL of Europe combined and more than any other country in history. The o’bama administration as you know has been funneling money to the Muslims in various ways and they hate us and want us to die too.
China is producing 3 huge cargo ships, right? They own the Panama Canal and are enlarging it, right? The Venezuela gov is training 30,000 Iraq’s currently, right? Clinton sold the Chinese 3 of our old Navy bases in California, right? California is on the edge of banning all guns and maybe gun confiscation, right? The Chinese want the US gov to disarm the citizens, right? How many Chinese troops can you hide, with equipment in 3 hugh cargo ships and land them on the shore of California? Especially if the US military is reduced to zip. Where are the 30,000 SAM rockets that are missing from Libia? Does any one have the nuke capabilities to hit the US and EMP the grid?
