A much needed skill.
Far too many people have no clue how to properly sharpen knives.
Even fewer know how to properly sharpen an axe, hatchet, or tomahawk.
Different tools require not only different sharpening methods, the angles of the edge are different- you nred different angles on different types of knives as well. You don’t use the same angle on a chef’s knife that you use on a filet knife.
There’s a lot to properly sharpening knives and tools.
Plus, you won’t have access to things like the WorkSharp electric knife and tool sharpener, or a variety of oilstones or diamond bench stones in a disaster/ survival/ SHTF scenario.
Better to learn now, than to try and learn as you go.
