I was wrong 12 years ago. If I gave this speech today, I would replace freedom with Liberty. I cannot believe we have not stood up to fight the tyranny that usurped our Constitution. Renee Ellmers was the unnamed politician who is now relegated to history’s trash pile of failed politicians.

As I look back through time, I can believe we have not stood up and fought back. People in general do not buck systems. If they can get by, they do. Since they have their bread and entertainment, they will tolerate. People also have gotten use to being taken care of from birth to death. They think they deserve it. As long as they are being taken care of, they are good.
Liberty, there are few who really want it. If they had it, they would have to take care of themselves. Most do not want this. I have only met a handful of people that want this enough to live it.
“One afternoon, near the end of the first summer, when I went to the village to get a shoe from the cobbler’s, I was seized and put into jail, because, as I have elsewhere related, I did not pay a tax to, or recognize the authority of, the state which buys and sells men, women, and children, like cattle at the door of its senate-house. I had gone down to the woods for other purposes. But, wherever a man goes, men will pursue and paw him with their dirty institutions, and, if they can, constrain him to belong to their desperate odd-fellow society.”
The older I get is the more I understand this so much more. I understand completely why men headed west, risking death and hardship to live as free men. There is no more west left and we are backed into a corner.
“. People also have gotten use to being taken care of from birth to death. They think they deserve it.”
And better is what they think they do not deserve. They simply think they are not worth it or anyone for that matter. Before they change their view of their world, how they think of themselves is in need of repair. People simply want their misery. so bei t
Keep up the good work, thanks!
Blink of an eye eh David, time fly’s when you’re having fun, great speech.
People are not supposed to live the way many live in America, alienated and isolated, with fragmented families (there are some examples in nature that demonstrate the necessity of collective participation and coordination as a matter of survival). The contrast is interesting for instance, such as with some Third World countries, many of which have populations in destitution, yet close family ties throughout. The weak link in the U.S. is the stratification on many fronts and the failure to properly educate people, along with unjust economics and a defunct church system (all of this precludes a purported constitutional republic; it simply won’t work in a nation of prevailing poverty). Hence, everyone has their own worldview which may vastly differ, and are often derived from greatly diverging backgrounds and experiences, which in some cases is a plus, however when politically used to divide, also provides cover for the elites as to the diminished quality of life among the populace (depleted resources); i.e., not being positioned financially to support a family in a manner one would find optimal, with much of the social support and according resources being redirected to focus on and directionalize individuals and groups for the strategic-based restructuring of this country, as has been evidenced. The notable part though, is that much of the native population is in no way positioned to counter it. A country can’t and should not expect to have freedom when it allows and tolerates the murder of their unborn and now born, through ‘abortion’. It’s absurd. Where was their freedom? These men, women, family members, friends, coworkers or anyone else that coerces a woman to get an abortion, even if she doesn’t, should be fined and jailed and publicly held to account. Any woman that has an abortion must be fined and jailed and publicly held to account, in getting to and debunking these so-called reasons for abortion.
