This young lady, data republican, is deaf, but has not let that stop her from becoming unique in her researching skills. She is very astute and is a prodigious researcher who tries to seek out relationships which will then reveal corruption among various individuals and groups.
Her website is: https://datarepublican.com/
Here is an article on Glenn Beck’s Blaze show, which goes into detail about this remarkable researcher: https://www.theblaze.com/news/datarepublican-exposes-uniparty-government-thriving-beyond-taxpayer-reach-in-first-ever-interview-with-steve-deace
Check her out and bookmark her/sign onto her X postings. She is revealing, outside of DOGE the sleaze that slimes around in the Dystopia Central (DC) sewers.

I have never carped about paying income tax per se. It’s an employer employee relationship and government SHOULD consider themselves beholden to us tax payers. I do think that if anyone of us has to pay income tax, ALL of us should have to pay – even if the poorest can only pay $100. What I object to is the scale of the compliance documentation and the fact that the tax law is so elaborate, intertwined, confusing and in many cases the various laws are contradictory. I read somewhere that the tax laws are devised so that it is impossible to complete a middle class tax return without breaching one law or another – and I believe that. I worked overseas for many years and, uniquely, prepared my own tax returns. It took all my non-working, non-sleeping time for two to three weeks and the document submitted ran to 3/4” thick. That and the threats to bankrupt people if they get their tax returns wrong, are my pet peeves with the income tax system.

State based sales tax ( already in place)to fund what is needed, no more income or property tax. When economy is good lots of tax $ when bad not so much so. Take a one year hiatus in public sector, then this year’s revenue is next year’s budget- no more deficits EVER & as a farmer, I get lots of sales tax exemptions – get this- they can go away-NO EXEMPTIONS-not even for govt -. I look at it this way,if you wish to and are able to buy it’s just part of the cost – do your own budgeting

The IRS’ main weapons are Fear and Greed.

The stock market uses the same weapons.

A heavy, graduated income tax is the second plank of the of the 1848 communist manifesto.
It was instituted in the US in 1913. That should tell where it came from and what it is.
Just sayin…..

Remember Dick Armey (of TX)?
An advocate of a 17% flat tax. Everybody pays, no exceptions.
Anything more and we are overtaxed!
We ARE overtaxed.

Most people, by law are Not Required to pay income taxes. You are, by law required to file though.
Very simply, if you do not work for the government, military, postal service etc., are not an elected official, or have government contracts then you DO NOT owe ANY federal income taxes. This is settled law, Supreme Court down multiple times.
W2, W9’s, 1099’s are government forms to be used by government agencies and employees and are only Supposed to be issued by sanctioned with holding agents. Your company likely is not a sanctioned agent.
You are not supposed to know this, you are only to fear the IRS and the longstanding obfuscation of the facts and the law. The 16th amendment is not the problem. Fundamental understanding is.
Do some research, it is easy to find. Admittedly difficult to understand and time consuming but when you do understand it will piss you off, and set you free.
