🚨ELON MUSK: "For the next few years America is likely to win the race in AI. Then it will be a function of who controls the AI chip fabrication. If more of the factories are owned by China then China will win. Right now all the chip fabs are in Taiwan. 100%. If China invades… pic.twitter.com/vOuaQVrZHP

Semiconductor manufacturing is a major force behind China wanting to invade Taiwan. America Must on shore this industry to maintain our economic health and security.
I can’t shake the feeling that whoever wins the AI race will be the biggest loser…
I wonder why chyna wants to invade taiwan so bad?
A very long answer but I did enjoy doing some research about it.
Why does China want Taiwan when it’s already so big and rich? The answer is about more than land and money -- ABC News
Seems to do a pretty good job. One of the few ABC reports that checked out when I spot checked their work.
if China invades Taiwan, the world will be cut off from advanced semiconductor chips. not because China has control of the factories and refuses to supply other countries companies, but because Taiwan burned the factories to the ground to prevent them falling into China’s hands.
I doubt Taiwan would destroy infrastructure as you suggest.
It may be a moot point since China is building their own plants.
