Remember the fable of the frog and the scorpion:
A scorpion and a frog meet on the bank of a stream and the scorpion asks the frog to carry him across on its back. The frog asks, "How do I know you won't sting me?" The scorpion says, "Because if I do, I will die too." The frog is satisfied, and they set out, but in midstream, the scorpion stings the frog. The frog feels the onset of paralysis and starts to sink, knowing they both will drown, but has just enough time to gasp "Why?" Replies the scorpion: "Its my nature..."
It is human nature to look out for your own best interests. Politicians just take it to a higher level as they continue to take “solutions” and create more problems.
The first step to become free in Liberty is to realize that the politicians who have destroyed our republic have no intention of fixing their actions. There is no political solution.

N.C. – Urgent Legislative Action Alert
HB 100 (Record of Excusals from Jury Duty) started out to help concerned patriots identify non-US citizens on NC’s voter rolls… but the House amended it to have the opposite effect!
As now written, it will actually prevent the public from ever finding non-US citizens on the voter rolls. Please read that last sentence again and let it sink in for a moment.
They did it in the name of “privacy,” so rather than vent on well-meaning House members, let’s fix the bill in the Senate!

The bill currently sits in Senate Judiciary II, chaired by Senators Barranger, Daniel and Randleman. Members: Alexander, Barefoot, Bingham, Bryant, Cook, Curtis, J. Davis, J. Jackson, Krawiec, Lowe, McInnis, Smith-Ingram, Van Duyn, Wells & Woodard.
Please ask them to amend line 12 of HB100 as follows: Delete the words, “but are not,” and replace with “and are.”
