While eugenics has a long past history, the modern endeavors that aspire to cloning only go back to the ’70s. Jacob of biblical fame managed to manipulate a specific strain of goats likely via artificial insemination. Now, of course, we have technological advancements that make anything possible. 2 Thessalonians 2 speaks of the “man of sin” who will be revealed when “what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.” The word “what” is the clue. And the “what” equates with technology. It is no secret that man has been inspired by Satan and his demonic followers from the beginning to become like the gods (that are not gods). The ultimate achievement of man is to present a being that appears and acts like a human.
Revelation 17:8 “The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.” This verse speaks of a clone – a clone of someone who was assassinated, died and miraculously brought back to life. No, he was not brought back from the dead. He has a clone.
