True preparedness is about building up necessary supplies and talents, but it is also about organizing with uniquely qualified people. Ignoring the latter task is to set yourself up for inevitable failure.

The concept of the three legged stool is the basis for the organization of a geographic area: Tactical, Communications and Intelligence. As with any foundation, it must be built on bedrock, not shifting sand. That bedrock is composed of qualified instructors, equipment and leadership. Most people have never met a true leader. The most essential quality of leadership is followship. That simple tenet should always be the guide for judging leaders.
But there are other qualities that are necessary for success: courage, morality, sacred Honor and attitude. You are starting to see the obstacles that must be overcome. It would be easy to give up before you even start. It would be easy to give up even after you start: this is not an easy project. As Mr. Smith stated above: “it is also about organizing with uniquely qualified people”. Attitude and common goals are the keys to winning. Winning is defined as a series of successes. Successes are goals that have been agreed upon, are attainable, and then achieved. It is human nature that people want to be on the winning team. Nothing will destroy your organization quicker than failure. But success also breeds contempt. Which is why people sharing a common goal is necessary as well as understanding the consequences of failure.
What is the goal for me? Freedom for our children. Not government. Not elections. Not political parties. The list of distractions is long but if an issue does not help you to achieve your goal, ignore it. Unfortunately, freedom is hard to achieve under tyranny. Especially when:
None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free.

The foundation is only the beginning. It must support a new system of organization. The level of organization depends on how low this country will fall. So how do we start when the odds are not in our favor? We begin with a first step. The same first step that led to the formation of 13 free sovereign and independent states under the Treaty of Paris:
Article 1:
His Brittanic Majesty acknowledges the said United States, viz., New Hampshire, Massachusetts Bay, Rhode Island and Providence Plantations, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia, to be free sovereign and independent states, that he treats with them as such, and for himself, his heirs, and successors, relinquishes all claims to the government, propriety, and territorial rights of the same and every part thereof.
We must remember that a group of colonial “revolutionaries” declared their freedom from the world’s most powerful nation without any hope of success. And they succeeded. Follow in their footsteps with the protection of divine Providence. Declare your fight for Liberty with their pledge:
And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.
If you cannot understand what it at stake, you will never take the first step. For those who have taken this first step, stay the course.
