As someone far smarter than I said:

When things get spicy 90% of your troubles will come from within 10 miles of your home.

Home field “Advantage” only goes to those that put in the WORK.

Do you know the criminal families in your area? Working EMS and thus with police I can tell you crime runs in families.

Not all police are your friends, not all police are your hostiles.

Frankly that applies to most of your “Friends”. Amazing how fast a “Friend” can be turned for almost any reason or no apparent reason at all.

Area studies should also cover wild sources of safe water and food. You many never have a lack of troubles but having too much food and water is YOUR CHOICE.

A great presentation. I live in a small mountain town 50 mils from the nearest city, I see a boatload of potential problems. Maybe he will address them.

Part of the problem is that you’re not going to know who your friends are until *after* things get spicy. … unless you’ve been through “spicy” with them before.
