This may be just the normal annual training that all Reserve and National Guard units are required to perform.
To read something more in this encounter is to extrapolate upon another extrapolation….
Customarily such call-ups are two weeks in duration. So it was truthful for the soldier to say “Yep” when asked if the duration was 2-3 weeks …… because it was !!

It may be summer drills. On the other hand…
I live in NE Kansas and work for an avionics shop next to a G.A. airstrip. Today we had 4 F-18 Super Hornets fly in, land, do touch n go’s, then come in and park. On occasion we see a couple stop in to refuel and carry on. The 4 that came today are staying at least overnight.

Fun Time is almost here…we’re out in farm country NW Ohio today we saw Air Guard Helos and low level f-16s…so low they waived!

Monticello Indiana. They deployed awhile back for ten months to Texas.

OR it is information that you have to evaluate in order to generate intelligence upon which to act. I did not post the story of the woman in the stand behind Trump since it was obviously a rumor (and a bad one at that).
