by Publius Huldah

Representative Sickles may have meant this as a warning of what would be the attitude of Delegates to a convention – as opposed to what he himself would  do as a Delegate to a convention.

But the point is: We don’t want anyone “whacking away” at our Constitution – and Delegates to an Art. V convention would have the power to do just that….

You are so Wrong ! Article V of the U.S. Constitution gave us we the People A means to address where the U.S. government has over stepped the rights of the States. Article V was put in the Constitution where the States could keep the rights not delegated US government goes to the states. They were smart to add Article 5 in the Constitution, where the states have A means to correct the wrong and over stepping of Power of the Feds.with A Convention Off States and A 2/3 majority. this is not new in the history U.S.A. When A Convention Off States comes to your State CHECK IT OUT THESE ARE THE GOOD GUYS Danny

the reason this has A chance this time we the people know this is the only way we can save this country .and get our constitution back and stop us from financial DOOM ! There or enough R states to get the 2/3 of states that is why the DEMS or saying we or wacking the constitution our founding fathers were wise enough to add article V in to protect us from what has happen the last 6 years . we have a large debt that will bury us for 200 years. Why worry about Red China attacking us they already own us and everything our grand kids will ever have WAKE UP AMERICA DANNY ROBERTS

Sir I hate to say you are so wrong. There were five or six since the article V was ratified none came up with 2/3 of the vote to change it. We have 26 states already. It only takes 36 states to make 2/3 of states. Danny
