As much as I appreciate the work that OMG is doing, I can’t imagine that they can’t come up with some sort of filter to clean up the background noise in their videos.
No, they have to use an ‘omni-directional’ microphone to do this sort of work–which picks up everything around it without noise filtering as the source is to far away for that.
If they filtered it, they would be accused of “editing”
