This is an excellent resource!
In one breath, the Crusades were about pushing islam back to its origins in order to restore Christian lands, Jihad (“holy war”) is about expanding influence and control through conquest. Be aware that, according to the Koran, once a land falls under islamic control, it is forever islamic property (thus many of the squabbles in the so-called “Palestinian” areas of Israel. Anyone who says otherwise is ignorant of the koran and history itself.
