Friend —
Remember when getting an elected official to even mention carbon pollution or climate change was a big deal? We’ve come a long way.
Today, the momentum for action has never been greater. Climate change denial in America is at an all-time low, and hundreds of companies have come out to support rules on power plant pollution. As if that wasn’t enough, religious leaders like Pope Francis are insisting that there is a moral obligation to address climate change.
In just two weeks, more than 160 nations, representing more than 90 percent of the world’s carbon pollution, are joining together for an international conference to tackle climate change, while we still can.
But, success on this issue is far from guaranteed. While the international community is finally coming together to act, there are still members of Congress trying to hold back progress.
Climate change deniers are trying to spoil this big moment by undermining America’s commitment to act on climate change. Join OFA in standing up to deniers and protecting our progress.
Some senators, like James Inhofe and Mitch McConnell, are going out of their way to undermine American commitments. Senator Inhofe, famous for bringing a snowball onto the Senate floor as proof that climate change doesn’t exist, has committed to crash the talks and be a “one-man truth squad,” telling the international negotiators how little he believes in climate science.
Senator Inhofe isn’t alone. Back at home, climate change deniers in both chambers of Congress are working to overturn the carbon pollution standards for power plants.
Americans deserve better. We deserve responsible leaders who work toward solutions. OFA is working hard to hold these members of Congress accountable for actively standing in the way of progress.
Join OFA in calling out climate change deniers, so the U.S. can move forward on addressing climate change:

I have rapidly read this post but am not sure that I understand the issue since the entire contention that there is going to be overwhelming amounts of CO2 in the atmosphere begs the question of what scientific background exists here. First, the “Global Warming” issue was well disproven (basically, a good sample has never been taken). That was followed by the “Climate Change” hoax. I say that because the other word for Climate Change is “Weather” and we have had that since before the beginning of recorded time. The amount of Carbon present within the confines of our atmosphere is finite (the question here is: Has anyone seen any NEW carbon recently or ever?) The answer is NO since it would take something that made an atomic number change to accomplish that and burning something does not accomplish such a change. Nature has brought about more catastrophic events than man could conjure up. Any events that have taken place prior to 1900 are not related to SUVs and other fossil fuel devices. In addition, the amount has increased more exponentially than linearly and the US of A is the only country of significance that is following these arbitrary and schizophrenic rules. How did this post get on this site?
This is another example of the propaganda from the administration. You cannot argue with unarmed people.
