The following interview of Renee Ellmers on The Morning Rush (106.1 FM in Raleigh or http://www.wrdu.com) took place after the debt legislation was passed. Carmen Connors respectfully voiced her frustration concerning Mrs. Ellmers’ disregard of her constituents’ views in Washington.
It did not take Renee very long to succumb to the allure of power in Washington and forget whom she represents. Mrs. Ellmers cancelled her appearance on August 9 at the last minute to answer questions at the Moccasin Creek Minutemen monthly meeting. This tactic of cancelling even after verifying the appointment is becoming her trademark.
If Renee is not Tea Partied in the primary, the 2nd District will be represented by the Democrat Party in the 113th Congress.
