Chelsea Clinton: Gun Control Opportunity on Supreme Court With Scalia Gone

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Actually, this is good. Let the government outlaw all firearms. Then let them enforce it.
Then again, who cares what any Clinton thinks?
Being against the 2 Amendment cost Al Gore the presidency when he failed to carry his home state of Tennessee in 2000…those that knew him best rejected the man who was for gun control, invented the internet, and hyped global warming to the panicked chicken little level while becoming wealthy in the process.
If there ever was a jump start to the 2nd American Civil War…packing in more liberal lawyers in black dresses who would strip U.S. of our self defense from anyone including the bloated tyranny presently sucking the life out of the Republic…would bring on the 2nd Fort Sumter.
I despise war and would hate to spend my rapidly advancing old age living its horror…but there are hills worth dying on…and slavery is not worth living for.
The above is why Oath Keepers is such a valuable movement.
Sorry Mark but the Oath Keepers are not a valuable group. Name one thing that they have done besides talking. Not only that but they are just as clickish as any political party, in other words if you were/are one of the anointed ones welcome, if not you may join only as a strap hanger or hang about (much like a biker gang) Personally I don’t much care for that kind of “inclusion” either I am worth as much as the person next to me or you can go and pleasure yourself in a “gender inclusive restroom” As far as I am concerned any boy or girl who stood up in class an recited the pledge of allegiance has given their oath.
Eric,
I’ll name 10 things they have done…bringing this education and awareness on the Constitution…the Oath…and what not to do if given illegal orders.
When TSHTF we will need as many Americans in the military and agencies and police etc. as possible to follow these NOTs! Oath Keepers has raised this education and awareness level tremendously.
OATH KEEPERS:
ORDERS WE WILL NOT OBEY
Click here to read full length version.
1. We will NOT obey orders to disarm the American people.
2. We will NOT obey orders to conduct warrantless searches of the American people
.
3. We will NOT obey orders to detain American citizens as “unlawful enemy combatants” or to subject them to military tribunal.
4. We will NOT obey orders to impose martial law or a “state of emergency” on a state.
5. We will NOT obey orders to invade and subjugate any state that asserts its sovereignty.
6. We will NOT obey any order to blockade American cities, thus turning them into giant concentration camps.
7. We will NOT obey any order to force American citizens into any form of detention camps under any pretext.
8. We will NOT obey orders to assist or support the use of any foreign troops on U.S. soil against the American people to “keep the peace” or to “maintain control.”
9. We will NOT obey any orders to confiscate the property of the American people, including food and other essential supplies.
10. We will NOT obey any orders which infringe on the right of the people to free speech, to peaceably assemble, and to petition their government for a redress of grievances.
Like the TEA Party Oath Keepers exploded on the scene (at least to me) to stand against the Radical Left’s 2008 takeover of the government.
.
When I ran across Oath Keepers I was a blade in the grass roots of the TEA Party (2010) carrying signs in DC and Raleigh. I joined on the internet, and never heard another word from them again until 2015. NC had a spark-plug state leader who came in like a whirlwind during 2015 and really led & and organized…then he left in a disagreement.
I tried to get 7 locals formed and then gave up…I’m not chasing cats.
Look, I’m not a post military joiner…had a short stint with an all Nam Vet American Legion in the 70’s helped build a memorial for a group for 5 local KIA’s in my home town and got tribal with some brothers…but fast forward to 2016 at 66…I’m pretty much a loner who loves his country, the Constitution, sees the shit storm coming and will not go quietly into the night…without a fight. Period.
Now, on your point on the Oath and the Pledge…I agree with you 100%!!! I have never thought of them of not being inclusive but your point on that is food for thought.
I’ll stand alongside any American of any race, color creed, religion, gender, status, wealth, poverty, persuasion, background, education, height, width, weight, appearance, personality, stubbornness etc. etc. etc. who believes in and supports the Constitution and the Bill of Rights and understands if those in temporary power don’t believe in the NOTs and try to violate them…Bang a Gong…let’s get it on!
Mark,
Thanks for your reply and keeping it civil. However (not to split hairs) those are things they say they’ll do not things that have been done. It sounds to me like you’ve actually put your money where your mouth is through your actions, but what have they done? Do they run a soup kitchen? Work to get homeless of the streets? help a struggling family make ends meet? Send honor guards when none are available? visit and comfort the sick and the old?
Those are all things that would go along way towards cementing the good will of the people around them and will be remembered when the time comes. Not to mention giving all patriot minded people a group to look up to now.
Until that time I along with more than a few others will continue to look at the Oath Keepers as just another “good ol’e boy network”
Now about that Chelsea video, I agree with David let them ban some or all guns then try and enforce it!
Have a good weekend Mark, it’s been a pleasure meeting you.
I think what John Mosby said sums it up with dignity and great virtue:
“Remember:
The fundamental human right to self-defense and its tools does not stem from any piece of parchment or other act of man.
It is much more elemental than that.
I have more principled reasons for my stand on owning firearms, and I don’t care one whit in the world for the Second Amendment. It means nothing to me. My rights have nothing to do with the U.S. Constitution, and when it dawns on people that it has finally been erased — the principal danger of all political premises posed as “social contracts” — my rights will still validly exist, even if I die defending them. I own firearms because I have a right to private property. That is the First Thing.
…As the Regime takes off the gloves, every day it creates tens of thousands more American Patriots who realize yes, it really probably is going to get that bad, so really, they may not have that much to lose after all.
So why not stop being afraid and stand up to the Regime?
Join the honorable Resistance, or make your own. Garden, cook at home, teach your children, and get right with the Lord. Cut expenses, avoid taxes, learn new skills, and build savings of tangible real assets. Train, stockpile, recruit, prepare, guard, protect, and defend.
Make this your finest hour.
Word.”
All any true American has to do is READ the “Preamble to the Declaration of Independence”. Then THINK on what it means. If you believe it is a legal document (as all should) then act accordingly
The problem I have with the Oathkeepers is that the organisation is filled with currently serving members. They claim to believe in the Constitution, yet serve in organisation that outright seek to destroy it. Why is it that someone that says they are so for something can also seek to destroy it. You cannot server two masters.
The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. We have run Bill Clinton through the ringer and persecuted him for his extra-marital affairs when all along it was Hillary who was doing the nasty behind the closed doors at the Rose Law Firm in Little Rock, AR with her partner Webb Hubbell. Later it seems she forgot to tell Bill she become pregnant with daughter Chelsea. Hillary initially kept the pregnancy secret from Bill! “If your wife becomes pregnant, the husband is usually the second person to know. But I find it very odd that Bill initially didn’t find out about his wife becoming pregnant – and had to learn that fact from a newspaper”. Now that is cold-hearted to me. Now I ask is Hillary Clinton a woman of good moral character? If you follow her trail starting from her college days to where she is currently you’ll find out she has lied, cheated, and murdered her way to get where she is now. Now it seems that Chelsea has started taking the same path that her mother has taken. By that I mean using someone’s death to get what she wants. Stay away from our Second Amendment.
