Christmas Conflict As Cracks Appear In The MAGA-Tech Alliance

Elon Musk is arguably more responsible for Donald Trump’s election victory than any single individual other than Trump or his opponent. By buying Twitter (now, X), he provided a platform for Trump and others to counter the mainstream media, and Elon of course endorsed Trump, donated millions to support his campaign, and personally stumped for him in Pennsylvania.

As much as Trump supporters appreciated Elon and other Silicon Valley types like David Sacks helping getting Trump elected, many feared that the price would be more foreign workers for the tech industry. Those fears were validated on Christmas as Elon and others called for just that.

No, we need more like double that number yesterday!

The number of people who are super talented engineers AND super motivated in the USA is far too low.

The conflict was further fueled by the revelation that recent Trump appointee Sriram Krishnan wants to lift country caps on green cards…

Point of clarification: Sriram didn’t say he wants to remove all caps on green cards. He said he wants to remove *country* caps on green cards. Right now, every country in the world gets allocated the same number of green cards, no matter how many qualified applicants it has. So…— David Sacks (@DavidSacks) December 24, 2024

What if America started focusing on academics instead of indoctrination? Graduate students with a completive education! Then we would not have to import that “talent” disband the DOE, recreate the PTA. Who even remembers what the PTA was??

Yes, Zeb! I wish we still had “like” buttons here. Our public schools are the reason we must import brain talent.
But we need to disband the public schools -- we can’t fix them with PTA. The American public schools were rotten from their beginning during the mid 1800’s -- and they’ve become steadily worse. They produced conceited ignoramouses; and recently have become so filthy that the Marquis de Sade would be at home.

I could count on one hand the number of Americans I have known who can think. Most of the Americans I have known can not read a text without inserting their own preconceptions into the text; they can not draw even simple inferences from facts; they don’t know the difference between a Fact an an Opinion; they don’t understand why their “opinion” (of which they are so proud) isn’t worthy of respect even though they have no knowledge of the subject on which they are opining. They were indoctrinated in the public schools to repeat what their teachers tell them, and were conditioned into never analyzing what they were told. They blindly follow protocols no matter how idiotic and nonsensical (or evil) those protocols are.
And they tend to be lazy. They wouldn’t read the books -- they read the Cliff Notes.
That is the fruit of the American public schools. I expect the Indians have a public school system which is superior to ours.
