I reside in one of the Va. counties that have been invited to join West Virginia. I’m a ‘Yea’. The only thing I would have to do is change the tags on my vehicles. When I open my door the day after the scenery will not have changed, but I think I would be inhaling sweeter air.

God bless everyone involved. I hope this can all work out peacefully.

I was impressed by the video. I had forgotten the separations earlier of the territory of Virginia and was please to be reminded. I was with the presenter, Mark, up until the ending 3 minutes or so. To quote Chairman Mao “political power grows out of the barrel of a gun.” Is he who we, like some of the sycophants of The little “O”, look to as one of our heroes? I don’t think so. While it may some day come to an armed conflict, rattling our sabers (wagging our weenies) is not how I (a gray-haired septuagenarian) wish to shuffle off this mortal coil. Yes there seems to be a two (if not three) tiered justice system at this point in time, but there is a justice system, and, by the grace of God, it is being repaired. Saying to the people in Virginia looking to secede that “we” will support them by showing up as an armed army is incendiary at least and seditious at best.

Let’s all take a deep breath, get down on our knees and ask the God of our founding fathers for his counsel; it is His fight, after all!

I’m closing in on my 70th trip around the sun, so I do sympathize with some of your concerns. However, how incendiary is it for a state government threatening to send National Guard troops out to enforce unconstitutional laws on law abiding citizens, to take from you at the point of a gun your private property and maybe your freedom? To strip from you your inalienable rights as a human being and a free person under some contrived power grab that would place a boot on our necks? Is stiff opposition to a tyrant sedition? Likely is to the tyrant. Too bad we can’t ask King George.
