Nothing good ever happens with a conditional surrender. It always leaves seeds that will grow into larger problems. The Old Testament show how to wage war and what is needed for a lasting peace.

Thanks for posting the 1871 Paris Commune video. Spain’s Civil war from 1936-1939 has many, many parallels….history rhymes time and time again…the Leftists (woefully called the “Republicans” in Spain) were the idealists, workers, secularists (Laicists) funded by and having Stalin-provided weaponry versus Franco’s Nationalist party. Franco was a Catholic and had Hitler’s weaponry….The leftist in Spain, murdered clergy, and destroyed churches. Leftist Americans fought in the again mis-nomered “Lincoln” Brigades” against Franco.
