Soon after the arrival of Mr. J. in London, we [Thomas Jefferson and Mr. J.] had a conference with the Ambassador of Tripoli, at his House.
…
We took the liberty to make some inquiries concerning the Grounds of their pretentions to make war upon Nations who had done them no Injury, and observed that we considered all mankind as our friends who had done us no wrong, nor had given us any provocation.
The Ambassador answered us that it was founded on the Laws of their Prophet, that it was written in their Koran, that all nations who should not have acknowledged their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as Prisoners, and that every Musselman who should be slain in battle was sure to go to Paradise.
That it was a law that the first who boarded an Enemy’s Vessell should have one slave, more than his share with the rest, which operated as an incentive to the most desperate Valour and Enterprise, that it was the Practice of their Corsairs to bear down upon a ship, for each sailor to take a dagger in each hand and another in his mouth, and leap on board, which so terrified their Enemies that very few ever stood against them, that he verily believed the Devil assisted his Countrymen, for they were almost always successful. We took time to consider and promised an answer, but we can give him no other, than that the demands exceed our Expectations, and that of Congress, so much that we can proceed no further without fresh instructions.

Thomas Jefferson purchased a copy of the Koran when he was a law student as part of his personal library. This purchase is used today as “proof” that he supported Islam in another attempt to cancel our culture. As the above example proves, Jefferson was not familiar with the Koran and its mandates concerning infidels.
For those in Congress shedding crocodile tears for terrorists who kill unarmed civilians, they should be removed for not representing the majority of people in our “Democracy”.

America is dead, our Constitutional Republic is dead, therefore true liberty and freedom no longer exist. Put a fork in her.
T.J. had a brain. He asked the Muslim what were their grounds for seizing other nations’ ships. And he got THE answer. As long as Muslims retain that ideology, they will be a grave threat.
Americans of today don’t deal with FACTS and Reality. They attribute their own ideas to others. Big Mistake.
But we don’t have a “democracy” or at least we are not supposed to! We have a Representative Republic! There is no -- we the people- component in a democracy (communism). A democracy is a top down government. Of the elites, for the elites, by the elites. Example- Afghanistan, a certified rule of law, democracy! The Afghans voted for a rule of CONSTITUTIONAL law, representative republic! Then, theU.D., DOS, and world bank got involved, and hijacked the nation building process!
How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries, improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live.
A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement, the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property, either as a child, a wife, or a concubine, must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men.
Individual Muslims may show splendid qualities, but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it had vainly struggled, the civilization of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilization of ancient Rome.
Winston Churchill
I used to know some Muslims a while back. In the US. Only one of them was hard core. He was a Pakistani. I don’t remember how many times I was in a hurry going into the locker room and almost fell over him while he was kneeling down on his prayer rug. The Iranians, the Palestinian, and the Philippine Muslims, I knew, were not very religious. I know people that say they’re Catholic, but they only go to church on Easter and Christmas. I imagine there are Muslims like that also.
