I honestly don’t know you are going to rebuild some areas that actually DO NOT PHYSICALL exist anymore… as all the land has been washed away, literally--as in a biblical flood scenario, along with all the people who were there. This Asherville township looks like it can bounce back, but these strip communities that were built on the banks of rivers, some don’t exist anymore as the land has been cut back so there’s nothing to build on.

He also told us we “shouldn’t” go out w/o a mask, open our businesses, or visit our elderly family. So, he can take his shouldn’t’s and shove it.

Remember this one from the Beverely Hillbillies?

“Come and listen to a story
about a man named Jed
A poor mountaineer, barely
kept his family fed,
And then one day he was
shootin at squirells,
Hurricane Helene and flooded him out,
up came bubblin silvery white swirls.

Lithium that is, White gold, Peruvian dust.”

Except these poor folks won’t be buying mansions in Beverly Hills.
