Democrats Have No Hope

Do guvamint clowns ever consider that electricity may not exist in rural power grids?
Do guvamint clowns ever think to consider that cell towers may go down or lose backup power?
Do guvamint clowns ever think that they do not know enough actual facts to be giving any relevant and useful instructions to the people ?
Do guvamint clowns ever….think ?? ??

Typical. “Stay obedient and obey”. The official response isn’t about helping people, it never is. It’s about maintaining control and authority. Yes, they’ll set up shelters, yes, they’ll work on clearing roads, etc. but their focus isn’t going to be on the people who need help the most. At best it will be triage, which to a degree makes sense, do the most good for the largest number with the resources available. I can also see where having a number of well intentioned folks flooding the area isn’t going to help and can make matters worse. In short, don’t become part of the problem.
I am aware of a few local relief efforts being coordinated and hats off to them. They range from a high point area business gathering food and water supplies with the plan to make a delivery, to a guy with family in the area loading up his truck with food, supplies, hygiene products, etc. and planning a backroads route to get to the town where he has family.
I also saw the one about the guy flying in from Statesville in a small plane, landing on a road, and brining in supplies.
Hell, the govt. has helicopters, are they using them? Or are they too busy posting troopers on roads to turn everyone away?
