Mounted four solar panels to a new array today, will wire it all in to the system later in the week!
This is a home brew system, several hundred feet from the batteries, I am trying to make the system current capacity five times necessary to reduce line resistance!
I am using automotive fuse blocks for each array with individual pointer amp meters and separate main breakers.
It all works great!

Hey! Been following recently. Silicon Grey beard had a chart on his sight awhile back that listed the products and amounts that can be refined from a drum of crude. I didn’t go back and try to find it. But gas, diesel, kerosene, motor oils/grease in the percentages available per barrel of crude made sense to me as why the prices and availability were priced as they are.

  • Okay, this is the best I can do. There may be a shortage of diesel. We banned the importation of Russian diesel. However, Europe is supposed to send us some diesel. There is a refinery in Italy that gets Russian oil. They can make diesel out of it and send it to the US. Go figure. I don’t know if it will be enough.
