From the New York Times:
Senator Richard Burr, Republican of North Carolina, took a swipe at Senators Ted Cruz, Republican of Texas, and Mike Lee, Republican of Utah, as well as House members who linked further funding of the government to gutting the health care law, which is financed by its own designated revenues and spending cuts.
“Let’s just say sometimes learning what can’t be accomplished is an important long-term thing,” Mr. Burr said, “and hopefully for some of the members they’ve learned it’s impossible to defund mandatory programs by shutting down the federal government.”

A sad day for North Carolina. Burr even looks porcine in the picture above. Senators Burr and Hagan are the prime reason why North Carolina needs a recall amendment. Too bad the people in this state do not have the ability to amend the state’s illegal constitution through a referendum by the people.
And as icing on the cake, Burr voted with his buddies, John McCain, Lindsey Graham and Kelly Ayotte to appease the pResident’s “compromise” solution to the government shutdown/debt ceiling crisis.

Now I know what kind of burr is up obama’s butt.
I have been so disappointed in Sen Burr lately, not even attempting to support conservative Congressmen. It’s like we have two liberal senators, instead of one dem and one republican. We need to replace Burr with a Cruz-clone.
